ache is pleased to present "Ghosting", a stunning four track EP from German producer Aaron Yabrov.
'Ghosting' is a term used in art when a super-imposition of one image is shown simultaneously over another, thus creating a blurring effect or the illusion of motion. These compositions attempt to show the details and hidden subtleties that come to life by slowing a recorded sound-sequence down to a ten-minute piece.
"Ghosting" is entirely composed of analogue synthesizers and various live manipulated effects. They were recorded using an old Tascam Multitracker in December of 2014. The processing of the recorded sounds afterwards – especially a recurring set of pitch manipulations – was the attempt to create a diverse but slowly evolving sound texture, a reverberating and also alternating shift within recorded time itself.
